Logistics Supply Coordinator

This is an extremely busy role working for an international marine logistics company

You will be reporting into the Operations Manager /Supply Manager but you will have constant contact & liaison with Management in all logistics depts. such as ;

Warehouse, Dispatch and Customs

Role requirements

  • Placing purchase orders onto global system; internal & external
  • Ensuring all orders are handled and dealt with correctly within time frames
  • Communicating with Customer Service teams, Transport and Warehouse & procurement dealing with availability & lead times of products ;
  • Continuous follow up on quotes and orders - with outstanding delivery issues ; amend with any charges if applicable
  • Liaising with dispatch dept. to identify delivery issues
  • ETA’s on p/o’s for dispatch
  • Keeping clients informed on any changes to delivery issues
  • Processing orders;
  • Non available items
  • Matching up p/o’s to orders
  • Process shipping ; adding any revenant charges
  • Print pick list for warehouse
  • Scan delivery notes
  • Deal with any invoice queries

This is a very busy role and requires someone with excellent coordination and communication skills

Experience

Previous experience in similar role; Planning / Inventory / Warehouse / Logistics / Transport

Excellent communication skills & excellent attention to detail

Ability to liaise with all different types of personnel

Team player & self-motivated

Multi-tasking skills & Problem solving skills

Starter finisher

Ability to work in demanding environment and remain calm

Hours 8.30-5pm
