Logistics Operative

We are seeking a Logistics Operative to work within the Warehouse as a warehouse assistant in a busy repair Centre. You will be required to have a full UK driving licence together with good computer skills - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Internet. Ideally you will already have forklift experience - although if not training will be given.

The role will be responsible for the movement of all goods in and out of the warehouse and will include:

• Receipt and booking of all goods and returns.
• Shipping of all outgoing goods and inventory requests within UK and Europe.
• Assisting with all aspects of packaging standards, requirements and materials including maintaining supply.
• Escalation of stock discrepancies.
• Parts returns to manufacturers as required
• Receipt of good stock and allocation to correct storage location.
• Regular count of stock to ensure accurate levels.
• Ensuring safe and tidy working conditions within the warehouse environment.

Requirements for the successful candidates are:

• Computer literate - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Internet
• Well organised and methodical approach
• Strong administrative ability
• Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and integrity
• Discretion and confidential approach to work
• Professional and pro-active
• Awareness of day to day Health and Safety legislation
• Driving Licence Essential
• High attention to detail.
