Supply Chain Planner - Authentic Japanese & Organic Fine Foods
West London, Acton
£28,000 - £30,000 + Company pension scheme + 50% of company products + Rising Holidays
Permanent - 08:30 – 17:30
A successful family owned organic fine food business is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join their team in an exciting period of growth. You will execute the purchasing and inventory management of products in order to meet customer requirements.
Reporting into the Supply Chain manager, you will:
+ Analyse and review product demand using an ERP system. Amending demand plans (forecast) to reflect any changes in demand to ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained.
+ Maintain ERP system (NetSuite) Master data (lead times, MOQs, costs and contacts) to ensure all data is kept as up to date as possible to enable the most cost-effective supply chain.
+ Raise Purchase Orders for finished products, using an ERP system (NetSuite).
+ Plan production for packed products by way of Work Orders, using an ERP system (NetSuite).
+ Create and manage all Bill of materials (BOMs) on the ERP system (NetSuite) to ensure Work Orders can be efficiently executed.
+ Maintain inventory levels across multiple third-party warehouses, ensuring optimum inventory levels.
+ Avoid out of stocks, customer delays and excess inventory.
+ Arrange & monitor inbound shipments and administrate the related documentation from suppliers and freight forwarders internationally.
+ Support the Administration of the Supply Chain department.
+ Support the monthly KPI collation, review and any subsequent improvement plans.
What we look for in a Supply Chain Planner:
+ Essential experience working in a supply chain role is required.
+ Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and highly proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
+ Experience using ERP systems. Desirably NetSuite, but not essential.
+ Strong organisation skills.
+ Strong communication skills. Fluent in Japanese is desirable but not essential.
+ Strong understanding of import and export requirements and paperwork.
+ Adaptable and flexible.
+ High attention to detail.
+ Experienced working in a fast-paced reactive role.
