Job Title: Senior Buyer
Salary:up to £40,000 + excellent benefits
Location: Northampton
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer. Are you a Purchasing Professional seeking a challenging new role? We are seeking candidates for a Senior Buyer role to join a leading technology company in Northampton with good electronic or electro-mechanical component and systems purchasing experience. You will be joining a small but dynamic team of buyers, driving supplier development.
Senior Buyer - Requirements:
- Good experience within a supply chain role
- Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical systems component purchasing
- Experienced within an electronics manufacturing or similar environment
- Good experience within MRP/SAP
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Senior Buyer - Responsibilities:
- You will drive and manage daily activities within the electronics commodities area, managing MRP requirements
- Negotiate with suppliers obtaining best price and lead times, resolving any supply chain issues
- Liaise with Project Management, advising of any issues or delays that may impact customer requirements
- Creating and issuing orders and ensuring these meet customer expectations
