Purchasing Assistant

The roles and responsibilties of this role will be -

Support the manager in delivering the required savings.

Send orders to suppliers by deadlines set, adhering to any minimum drop requirements.

Deal with any emails/calls from stores, within the service agreement.

Communicate with suppliers for delivery times, costs, product information. S

Some negotiating may be required to ensure stock is delivered efficiently.

Analyse previous promotions for forecasting orders for promotions.

Good administration of orders, promotional information, new product information etc.

To assist Manager when required on various tasks.

Liaising with warehouse staff to solve any issues raised.

Competent numerical and analytical skills.

Good administrator.

Good communicator.
