Operations Manager- Chichester- Engineering industry

Job requirements:

  • Daily management of a team of 5- Order Processors/ Warehouse/Assembly
  • Manage internal Order Processing System
  • Manage, develop and improve all Commercial Processes
  • Quality Assurance - maintain company certification to ISO 9001 : 2015
  • Responsible for planning of production, stock control and production schedule
  • Dealing with customer support requests
  • Negotiating with suppliers, managing customer expectations and ensuring ontime delivery of all orders
  • Recruitment, disciplinaries and reviews with all reporting staff
  • Management of team KPI's

Experience required:

  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Proven man-management experience
  • Lean/ Six sigma knowledge advantageous
  • Experience within Production or Manufacturing preferable

This role needs a candidate with previous Operations Management experience who can be hands on in the day to day functions of this business.
