Operations Director - £75,000 - £85,000 + Shares Scheme + Bonus - North Wales - Life Sciences, Medical, Production, Operations, Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced Operations Director/ Manager with experience in a life sciences environment to join an incredibly exciting, rapidly expanding, medical organisation based in North Wales.
You will be joining an established, ambitious and rewarding organisation to lead and improve the manufacturing process whilst becoming an industry expert within the medical field to play a key part in the future success of the company.
This would suit an experienced Operations professional, coming from a manufacturing background with a history of improving operational processes.
You will be:
-Managing the manufacturing sites to ensure the products are consistent with specifications and adhering to approved methods and processes
-Managing external suppliers, ensuring raw materials, finished products and components are appropriate to the demands of the business whilst minimising expenditure.
-Managing inventory levels to deliver on time delivery to customers whilst minimising inventory costs
-Overseeing the whole production process, including drawing up the production schedule, monitoring the process and adjusting schedules
-Responsible for the manufacturing sites including buildings, equipment maintenance, infrastructure and disaster recover protocols
You will be:
-From a life sciences background
-Experienced in leading teams and improving their processes
-Highly experienced in applicable quality systems and standards. E.g. ISO13485, 21CFR 820
-Knowledgeable on applicable health and safety standards
