Telesales Account Manager
Base salary circa £22,000 pa OTE opportunity: Circa £35,000 pa

We are seeking an enthusiastic Telesales Account Manager to join our client's team. They are an established and innovative company within the food industry in the midst of some very exciting change with exciting growth plans.
The ideal candidate will be confident building ongoing relationships with clients via the telephone (food suppliers) with either experience in the food industry or a passion for food. Other tasks will include updating systems and working with the field sales and customer support teams.
The role is based in their head office in Watford and offers free parking.
The ideal candidate:
- Knowledge of sales / telesales principles and strategies
- Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
- Food industry knowledge preferred but not essential
- Proficiency in systems including Excel and Word
- Superb communications skills to build key relationships
Key responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers via telephone taking food ingredient orders and promoting products and promotions
- Explain the product or promotion to potential customers
- Provide pricing details and receive orders
- Handle customer questions & input details into computer system (Excel & Word)
- Confirm orders placed with field sales representatives
- Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
- Build strong ongoing relationship with existing and new customers
In return the successful candidate will receive an excellent basic salary and attractive commission structure rewarding performance.
