The Night Warehouse Manager will be responsible for...

To deliver all customer orders by agreed time for the next day delivery. Delivering through your team to achieving great results. Pro-actively involving your team in identifying opportunities for improvement and sustaining change. Following the "Plan, Do, Check, Act" format you will communicate effectively on the Operational Dashboard KPI's

Safety - to ensure that Health and Safety regulations and legislation are adhered to within the area of responsibility. To assist in the continuous program of improving all aspects of Health and Safety by supporting the Health & Safety Manager through the successful delivery of appropriate training and knowledge sharing.

Quality - to ensure that all processes within the area of responsibility have an appropriate SOP and works instruction that have been designed to reflect an in-depth risk analysis.

Training - to enrol on appropriate training programs to ensure that the team's training and development needs are met, thus ensuring a continuous "raising the bar" culture exists within the area of responsibility.

Administration - to ensure that all, daily, weekly, monthly, KPI's are completed as necessary, that all documentation relating to stock control is kept and filed appropriately, to ensure that time sheets and payroll queries are managed with and on behalf of the team as necessary.

Pursuit of Purpose - to embrace and assist in the design, training and development of oneself and others to ensure that the culture of guiding principles and core values creates a structure from which to build successful behaviours from.

Projects - to deliver appropriately agreed and designed projects that are on budget and to agreed timescales that deliver an improvement.

Policies and Procedures - as required, to be able to follow the appropriate procedure/s when dealing with misconduct, grievances, work place incidents, etc.

Planning & Organisation - Must be able to prioritise tasks and organise teams to ensure best possible costs and KPI's are achieved

Performance Evaluation - to ensure that everyone within own team receives an annual PDR evaluation

Profile

The successful Night Warehouse Manager will have...

  • Experience at a Warehouse Managers level within a fast paced environment
  • Have experience managing a large team including team leaders and shift managers
  • Knowledge of WMS systems
  • Have a knowledge of Inventory processes
  • Have experience within Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement and Cost Saving and have examples to show this
  • Be a driven, hard working individual
  • Have the ability to get the best out of their teams

Job Offer

  • A salary of between £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience
  • Pension Scheme

  • Shift patterns with hours varying between 6pm-6am
