Demand Planner required for a well known manufacturer who produce high end, luxury FMCG products within a brand that is associated with quality. They offer a technical role within a great work environment, a passionate workforce and a role where you can have an ongoing influence on the success of the company.

The role would suit demand planners from ANY manufacturing/FMCG background. Applicants will ideally have CIPS qualification and be confident integrating with customers and suppliers regarding base rate planning, promotional planning and innovation (launch) activity.

The role will involve working across the business to establish and develop accurate demand plans, up to 12 months in advance in order to meet customer requirement.  You will be responsible for reporting and tracking impacts of demand plan changes to Production, Sales and Financial plans and communicate these changes across the organisation. You work closely with purchasing/procurement team to ensure that stock/inventory is updated and maintained to an accurate level through the SAGE system. You will liaise closely with the sales, procurement, production and logistics team to ensure that orders are shipped OTIF.

This is a new role within the organisation, the successful candidate will assume a role of responsibility which will be pivotal to the ongoing success of the company. The role is varied and you will be working within a fast paced environment alongside a supportive and friendly team.

The Role:

* Putting together demand plans, up to 12 months in advance; base rate planning, promotional planning and innovation planning.

*Reporting and tracking impacts of demand plan changes to Production, Sales and Financial plans

* Monitoring forecast versus actual status and report results to ensure plan targets can be met.

*Communicating changes/plans across the business

*Working closely with a number of departments to ensure customer requirement is met OTIF

* Lead weekly/monthly reviews to ensure teams remain on track e.g. critical path & demand/supply reviews

The Person:

*Must transfer from a manufacturing/FMCG background

*Must be computer literate and familiar with MRP/ERP systems

*High level understanding of forecasting and planning

*Will ideally have a CIPS qualification
