Senior Procurement Officer
Salary and Hours:£31,370 - £34,788 per annum, 37 hours per week

South Norfolk Council lead a commercial Procurement Consortium to provide strategic, procurement solutions and are seeking admission of new partners. This role will strengthen the Consortium and ensure collaboratively value for money is achieved for all partners through efficient and effective procurement processes.
What you’ll be doing
•Working with our staff and managers to identify the best procurement solutions;
•Ensuring our procurement practice accords with the highest professional and legal standards;
•Achieving value for money and innovation on all procured works, services and supplies;
•Leading and collaborating on procurement processes;
•Maximising opportunities to increase income generation.
You must have
Fully qualified membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or a degree in a relevant discipline with comprehensive knowledge of current procurement legislation and its application in the Public Sector. Just as important is your passion and determination and your ability to engage and influence others to provide an excellent customer service.
