Reed HR are partnered with a School based in Central London, in order to recruit for a HR Manager/Head of Operations on a permanent basis. The school is looking for someone on a full time basis.

The role and your responsibilities:
- Taking a lead on the management of the HR team
- Help support in the following areas:
Management of the admin team
Overseeing the website and communications
Compliance with GDPR requirements
Recruitment:
- Support the senior leadership team with their recruitment needs, ensuring this is -delivered in an efficient and cost effective way
- Manage the interview process, staying in line with safer recruitment practice
- Take responsibility for maintaining the records and files, including vetting from external agencies working with the school
- Responsible for ensuring all new staff receive induction
Personnel records/payroll:
- Manage computer personnel software for school purposes
- Oversee and monitor absence and leave arrangements
- - Arrange staff disciplinary and investigatory meetings
- Provide HR advice
- To cover for the Cover Manager during absence
Admissions
- Be first point of contact for admission enquiries
- Maintain an accurate waiting list
- Liase with local authority
Other responsibilities:
- Promote the safety and welfare of students
- Support school events when needed
- Undertake additional duties or projects as requested by the Head teacher
The Person:
To be successful in this role, you will have ideally worked within a fast paced and busy HR Manager position previously. Working within a school is preferable, however the school is willing to look at someone who is willing to learn.
You will need to have:
- CIPD qualifications or working towards
- A strong understanding of HR
- Experience advising managers/supervisors
- Experience with formulating, implementing and revising HR policies and procedures
- Strong recruitment experience, including managing various recruitment campaigns
