TCC is lookingto fill the following vacancy immediately: a wide ranging and dynamic management role within Managed Services, providing people and operational management in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. The role includes:

  1. Managing account delivery of managed services to clients including Paraplanning support, line 1 business assurance and complaint handling. Service delivery of a full range of financial planning products and services in line with advice processes and a compliance framework. Managing service delivery including volume/productivity/suitability and quality. Overall responsibility for the team’s productivity including individuals’ objectives and personal development. Stakeholder management including maintaining effective relationships with new and existing clients.

  2. Providing operational support to other projects within Managed Services including acting as Project lead as required and deputising when other Project Leads are out of the office.

  3. Responsibility for all aspects of project revenue and costs. Lead work ensuring required margins are delivered.

  4. Day to day responsibility for the management, coaching and development of individuals within the team.

  5. Support to the Business Development function, identifying new business opportunities and where required attending client meetings.

  6. Preparing new business Proposals with a full understanding of the clients’ requirements, how TCC can support and full costings as agreed with the Client Delivery Director.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Minimum QCF Level 4 in Regulated Financial Planning with Chartered Insurance Institute or equivalent

  • Fully competent in desktop applications (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Proven experience of Pension Transfers and Freedoms

  • Experience working as an Operations Manager within a fast paced environment

  • Management/Supervision of staff within a regulated environment

    Desirable (or working towards):

  • Advanced Diploma (level 6)

  • Other technical areas e.g. Paraplanning/support

  • Ability to assimilate and analyse data quickly and accurately

  • Ability to manage, coach and develop

  • Able to answer technical queries

  • Ensure that the workflow and targets are met in order to satisfy our clients

  • Manging a portfolio of delivery projects

  • Liaise with our clients and ensure the team is meeting the clients standards and expectations

  • Excellent working knowledge of the Financial Planning Process

  • Able to work within defined business processes

  • Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision

  • Prioritise and plan own workload and that of the team

  • Detailed and accurate

  • Articulate

  • Excellent inter personal skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

  • Good IT skills

  • Excellent report writing skills
