My client based in Kent are looking to employ multiple Procurement coordinators to join their established company.

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

• Within the allocated product stream the jobholder will ensure that every non standard product is processed in strict accordance with the Commercial process i.e. is supported with a Commercial Route Plan, and undergoes risk assessment, production readiness review, obsolescence review and contract review

• The key deliverable for all non standard product.

• Determine the level of planning required for each Commercial Route Plan and prepare the Commercial route Plan, where necessary in conjunction with the Gate Stage Owners to ensure that APQP Gate Stage Owners are aware of their own Gate Stage commitments and achieve them on time

• Undertake, where appropriate in conjunction with the Contract Compliance Manager, Contract Compliance reviews to ensure conformity with contractual commitments and to ensure maximum levels of profitability. The purpose is to ensure that the business is aware of the clauses to which it is committed, can and does comply with the clauses and routinely reviews these clauses to ensure continuing compliance and implement review actions e.g. price increases.

• Receiving feedback from SOPS/operations to ensure lessons learned from previous builds is incorporated into new builds e.g. lead times, MOQ’s

• Ensuring appropriate obsolescence reviews are performed to check the availability and reliability of supply chains – the onus always being to ensure that generic lead times are only used where zero risk is assumed. Obsolescence review actions should be managed by the Coordinator

• Ensure that the MIS system is updated at all times.

The salary for this role is paying up to £28,000.
