The Head of Procurement will ultimately be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of a purchasing strategy in line with the company set targets. The successful Candidate will inherit and a high performing team and will be expected to continue with the development of the various teams/functions.

Description

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Development, implementation and execution of a Purchasing Plan
  • Leadership and development of internal teams
  • Successful management and negotiation of supplier contracts
  • Supplier management against agreed Supplier KPI's
  • Mitigate risk to supply and cost through careful market analysis
  • Build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Become the 'voice' of procurement for the business

Profile

The successful Candidate will possess;

  • Demonstrable background in Procurement, more specifically the FMCG market
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Demonstrable background in leading and developing a team
  • Ability to create and implement a purchasing strategy
