Purchasing Executive - London Bridge
Our Client is luxury 5 star hotel who are looking to recruit a Purchasing Executive to join them.
You will have at least 3 years experience of working within a purchasing department and ideally from a hotel background.
Responsible for sourcing, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors
Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on purchase orders delivery and shipment schedules
Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
Previous experience in luxury 4/5* hotel or related industry.
Fluent in written & verbal English language with strong interpersonal & communication skills.
Exceptional customer care skills and great team worker.
Ability to work under pressure with pride and attention to detail in your work.
Professional and warm personality with a flexible attitude.
Salary for this position is £23K - £35K.
