IT Procurement Specialist - Blue chip organisation

Blue Chip Multinational Firm - IT Procurement Specialist - £40 - 50K + Package - Surrey / Hampshire

Due to an internal promotion a rapidly expanding Blue Chip multinational firm is urgently seeking an ambitious indirect procurement specialist to join their award-winning sourcing hub.

This strategic sourcing role will involve: -

• Being involved in and leading a variety of high spend sourcing projects
• Creating innovative sourcing strategies across the full array of IT category areas including software, hardware, telecoms & professional services
• Benefiting from a personally tailored development plan that has been constructed by board level members to ensure rapid development
• Regularly engaging with VP level stakeholders, and building key relationships with both key suppliers and incumbents

Necessary background: -

• Strong background of procurement or purchasing, including RFP, RFQ, contract drafting, negotiation and stakeholder engagement phases
• High level of articulacy and professionalism
• Extensive experience of handling high-value and complex projects across at least one of the following procurement categories: IT, FM, Marketing, Professional & Corporate Services, Fleet, Transport or Construction
• Degree and CIPS qualified (preferable but not essential)
