Logistics Coordinator

Our client is a market leader and specialist in the design, production and rental of advanced subsea technology for the global offshore industry.

You must have relevant shipping and transport experience and enjoy a challenging and varied working environment. You should have strong IT, organisation and communications skills as you will become part of the Operations team. A flexible approach to working hours is also a must for this position.

Key duties and Responsibilities:

• Taking bookings and assisting with transport arrangements by sea, air and road

• Producing and checking essential shipping documentation required by customers, freight forwarder, suppliers and customs.

• Updating and maintaining accurate shipping information

• Liaising with suppliers, customers and overseas agents

• Dealing with customers enquiries relating to orders, shipments and deliveries

• Providing excellent customer service

• Undertaking various other administrative duties where required

Experience & Qualities Required:

• Previous experience in the shipping / logistics sector is essential

• Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver high level of customer service

• Self- motivated, reliable, trustworthy and hardworking
