Procurement Manager
Raw ingredients – Flavouring – Food
Up to £50k plus package
West of Cambridge
Due to growth and ongoing demand we are looking for a proactive Procurement Manager for a global business based just west of Cambridge. In this role you will be procuring raw material for a food processing environment to enable ongoing production and the manufacture of fantastic products found in foods across the world.
You will be supporting the global category strategy through the proactive delivery of the business plan for your site. You will be procuring raw ingredients specifically for flavouring from a global supply chain in ingredients intended for seasoning and flavouring. The role will see you managing the local and regional sourcing portfolio in line with global procurement processes and systems while deliver the best value possible.
In this role you will be working with all internal stakeholders and will be expected to build good working relationships with C&A, Operations, Finance, Quality, Legal, Sales etc.
To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will have prior experience of raw material sourcing and management in a food manufacturing environment, either food products or ingredients production. You will be highly analytical and have prior experience of international and local sourcing in a category driven procurement environment.
We are seeking candidates qualified to degree level in a commercial subject, prior experience and ideally formal CIPS qualification level 5 or above.
