A Shipping and Freight Forwarding organisation is seeking to appoint a talented Shipping Coordinator to join their skilled team in Southampton.
Key duties and responsibilities;
- Imports and Exports documentation
- Handling of Import and Export shipments
- Work alongside the sales and management teams
- Build strong customer relationships
- Main point of contact for customer projects
- Work with carriers and vendors
- Supervising the transport process
- Completing customer quotes and placing carrier quote requests
- Handle customer inquiries
Skills required;
- Strong customer service skills
- Import and Export Operations experience
- Air and Ocean Freight experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Transport and freight forwarding experience
- Strong IT skills
