I am pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable manufacturing company based in North Lancashire. The business is seeking Warehouse/Inventory Manager to join their busy and team and take an active role in leading the warehouse team and implementing inventory process improvement strategies.

Day to Day responsibilities: -
• To co-ordinate goods-in, goods-out and some assembly/packaging processes
• To implement process improvement strategies (5s, Kanban, Kaizan, Lean etc) to improve stock accuracies.
• To lead and develop the current team as well as overseeing team recruitment.
• To place internal orders to replenish stock where needed.
• To report regularly in meetings with other department heads.
• To liaise with warehousing staff and other teams on material quality on arrival, housekeeping, Health & Safety and product storage conditions.
• To create and take ownership of visual KPI reporting for the team.
• To work closely with Suppliers, Customers and the Logistics to make sure products are delivered in a timely manner.

Requirements:
• Proven experience within a Manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in Inventory Management.
• Strong man-management and team orientation skills/experience.
• Strong process-improvement experience.
• Experience in inventory audits.
• Very strong interpersonal/man-management skills.
• To be a driven, engaging and passionate individual.
• 5s, KanBan, Lean experience would be an advantage.

The role will be 40 hours per week and the package includes a competitive salary plus 23 days holiday and a contributory pension scheme. Additional package details will be disclosed upon application.
