Sales Administration Manager - £40,000 to £45,000
Working for a well-established company based near Lichfield.
The role is a varied and busy position, requiring skills sets across the following disciplines:
- Accounting
- Order book, backlog management and sales ledger operations
- Staff management
- Supply Chain
Managing a team of 5 Sales Administrators, you will be ensuring the smooth running of this busy department, reporting into the Supply Chain Director who is based in the company head office in mainland Europe.
Due to location it is necessary to have your own transport as the company is not accessible by public transport.
The role:
- Managing all order processing of projects and maintenance contracts, ensuring data accurately processed and inputted on the company's newly installed ERP system.
- Ability to report the values and volumes of orders received within each given reporting period.
- Overseeing the allocation of project orders to the relevant sales team member and completing margin information, to support in the sales team's commission calculation process.
- Reconciling the back log of all orders and the outstanding revenue control using ERP reports, and supporting in the prediction of revenue
- Managing a team of 5 Sales Administrators and allocating all work.
Skill Sets Required
- Knowledge of accounting (part qualified account or by experience)
- Staff Management skills
- Understand of Supply chain in a sales administration department
- Excellent communication skills across multiple levels
- Ability to work independently and manage department effectively
