An exciting NEW opportunity has arisen for someone who provides excellent customer service and has previous export experience!
Reed Business Support is once again representing one of Lancaster's leading suppliers in finding an Export Sales Administrator to join their growing team.
As an Export Sales Administrator, you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers to ensure that all orders and shipments are expedited in a timely manner. It's a varied role where you will collate the documentation to ensure all freight processes are followed. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can maintain a positive and calm outlook whilst working under pressure.
What the job involves:
Preparing and processing customer orders, acknowledgements and order related updates
Processing quotations which involves detailed pricing and calculations
Daily liaison with factory regarding lead times and delivery updates
Preparing and providing export documentation in accordance with the terms of shipment to ensure timely despatch of orders
Continuous monitoring of shipments from point of despatch through to delivery
Dealing with appointed freight forwarders on a daily basis to ensure goods are exported according to country regulations.
Handling customer complaints in a timely an accurate manner
Daily liaison with credit control to ensure the customers’ accounts are in order
Daily liaison with numerous warehouses
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have previous experience of import/export administration, have strong attention to detail and have a good understanding of customs formalities.

Working hours, Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
Our client is based on the outskirts of Lancaster in a rural location so access to a vehicle is preferred.
There will also be a certain amount of travel to divisional offices to be expected during your initial training period of 6 months of which a hire car and hotels will be provided.
