Operations Manager - Service Delivery / Continuous Improvements

Looking for an experienced service delivery and continuous improvements manager to take on responsibility for a £9M cost centre within a Derby based IT solutions company's operations.

The business deliver technical field service support to their clients IT infrastructure in 1000's of sites across UK and Ireland directly, and via service partners across Europe.

This role has no direct reports, you will report to the Head of Operations and be tasked with reviewing and restructuring all areas of the business unit: systems, the support function, processes, procedures - internally 3rd party relationships in the UK and across Europe.

The key aim is to improve profitability by reducing costs and increasing first time fix ratios. Creating strategies and delivering them across the Service division. Managing and driving change in a controlled way to maximise returns and minimise negative impacts on service delivery.

You will work closely with a number department managers (Field Service, Workshop Repair, Helpdesk and Technical Support) to understands issues and find areas of improvement.

Additional pieces include on boarding of new services and customers, looking at training needs and impact.

Must be flexible to travel, car driver preferred.

Office based in Derby.

Salary £40 - £42K basic + £5K car allowance (possibly negotiable).
