Contract Supply Chain and Logistics Manager
We are looking for a Contract Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to work at our client who works at the cutting edge of Transport technology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Transport logistics.
Key roles
To manage the Carrier activity within the service, safety and cost expectations for core 4PL customers
Build and align the carrier network to meet internal and external customer demands whilst achieving budgeted revenue targets
Develop and implement an industry leading best practice carrier standard across the network
Ensure there are sufficient approved resources in each region to operate safely and efficiently.
Work with internal stake holders to manage the commercial framework ensuring that the contracts deliver the expected value within agreed parameters.
To undertake an approval process for new and existing carriers
Develop and build capability to ensure that the carriers can meet future business requirements.
