Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Lancashire - Commutable from Preston, Chorley, Bolton, Wigan
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000

NJR Recruitment is currently working with a highly successful, forward thinking retailer operating within a thriving, ever evolving market sector and is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team based in Lancashire.
Working across multiple brands, in a busy e-commerce business you will assist the Commercial Team in the day-to-day running of the product range covering all sales channels, delivering sales, margin targets to ensure the right stock is available to meet their deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of weekly sales reports. Review the KPI data and provide insight into the figures and agree proposed actions in order to maximise sales opportunities
- Assisting the Trading Team with the management of pricing, margin and the stock range
- Carrying out on page testing, price changes and amendments. Website checks of the product range will also be required along with suggestions for improvements
- Assisting in stock management, supplier call offs and maintaining the stock file, which will include spending some time down at our dispatch site.
- Carrying out competitor price analysis
- Support the Trading Team to forecast sales and stock required throughout the season. Forward planning will also be carried out around stock reserves, pricing and promotions to be offered
- Liaise with management to ensure the commercial strategy is in line with our daily business objectives
- Gathering data from several different sources and helping to interpret for commercial benefit.
- Working cross functionally across the business in resolving ad hoc issues.
- Working closely with our Trading Stock Controller.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working within merchandising, supply planning or supply chain. It is preferable that your experience has been gained working for an online retailer and experience in an FMCG or seasonal business would also be advantageous. You will have a strong eye for detail and accuracy as well having good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
