Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Buyer required by an established international business that is renowned for its innovative product range. Offering a great package and personable working environment.

The successful Buyer will have previous international procurement experience. You will need a strong commercial acumen, ideally will have worked for an SME. Those with experience of trading hard goods such as power tools would be at a significant advantage, but those from an automotive, building/construction and agricultural background will also be suitable.

The department is looking to increase the size of the team due to expansion and to increase the business’ current product range.  This is a great chance to be part of a successful business in a role where you will be an integral part of the team.

The Buyer:

*Working across 3500 SCU’s between 4 other buyers.
*Understanding of items and suppliers you procure from.
*Liaising between the QA team through to supplier to ensure the products meet quality standards.
*Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best prices/rates are achieved with best product quality also.
*Procuring internationally from the Far East.
*Reporting to the team of various directors.

The successful Buyer:

*You will have previous international procurement experience.
