Operations Manager - Refurbishment (Public & Private Sector)
Up to £60,000 + Benefits

Howells Solutions are working with a leading regional contractor operating within the construction and refurbishment markets to recruit an experienced proactive Operations Manager to deliver Education, Emergency Services, Health, Defence, Local Authority, Care and Commercial Fit out and Social Housing projects on time and within budget.

As the Operations Manager you will delivery a portfolio of refurbishment projects, leading and developing a highly talented and motivated team, whilst building strong relationships with internal business functions, stakeholders, customers, consultants and the wider supply chain.

This is a client facing role where you will be expected to visit sites under your control on a regular basis. You be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, quality of the build is exceptional.

Operations Manager Essential Experience:

  • Significant experience as either a multi-project PM or Contracts Manager for a main contractor. The role may suit an experience Project Manager looking to make the move into Contracts Management, provided with support and development goals to make that progression
  • Track record of delivering a range of non-residential refurbishment and new build projects on time and to budget
  • Experience delivering projects of at least £2 million in individual value
  • Commutable to Bristol office base and willing to travel to projects
  • Conversant with producing programmes in Microsoft Project or similar
  • Experience of contributing to tender submissions
  • HND/Degree qualifications beneficial, or trade qualified background
