An established North East software company is looking for an Operations Manager to build on 20+ years of business with their new ideas for growth and development.

They're looking for someone who will lead and manage a small and agile business team. Preferably you'll have experience of tech businesses, launching products, and knowledge of finance applications. As their Operations Manager, you'll be expected to combine a strategic approach, with tactical planning, and hands-on implementation to achieve customer successes and business goals. You'll need to be a fan of software, and embrace technology to automate processes, reduce administration, and improve efficiency throughout the business.

The role is predominantly 'front-of-house', focusing on customer service, product support, and account management. As an Operations Manager you'll need to be the face of the business to both internal and external audiences.

Internally, their team members embody the values of the business. They have a culture of giving team members autonomy along with accountability. As Operations Manager you'll manage the team performance through stand-ups, check-ins, one-to-ones, and appraisals. You'll need to provide additional coaching and support as team members need.

Externally, you'll work with the businesses Account Managers to proactively manage customers, key accounts, and collaborate with business partners. As Operations Manager you will be expected to lead on new customer acquisition and the retention of existing customers.

The business's infrastructure is of a high standard and generates masses of performance data. You will be provided support and the freedom to use this data to measure, motivate, and reward your team members in line with business objectives. The company directors will support you in your role. They'll provide access to a talent pool of experts who will run the back-of-house business operations which includes the development and maintenance of the company's core software product.

The Package:

- Basic Salary £40,000 - £47,000 + Bonus £15,000
