JOB TITLE: Operations Manager (Engineering)
LOCATION: Frome, Somerset
SALARY: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum plus pension and free parking - excellent prospects available!
Are you an engineering or manufacturing professional and keen for a new challenge where you will have the chance to progress? Our client is a well established and successful organisation who produce a wide portfolio of products, they are experiencing continued growth and as such have created a new role for an Operations Manager.
As Operations Manager you will have the support of the management team but also autonomy to oversee a number of internal departments including production, with a range of systems and procedures already in place, you will also ensure they are adhered to. Strong leadership skills with excellent communication skills at all levels are essential but you will also need to be a team player in this hands-on role.
A proven track record in a similar role within engineering or manufacturing is essential, in particular with experience of fabrication and LEAN manufacturing / continuous improvements.
This is a key role within the business where you will be instrumental in taking the company forward, with excellent career progression available.
