An opportunity to join one of the largest financial institutions in the country has arisen as a Deputy Operations Manager. The role will be focussed on delivering to revenue and customer experience targets. If you have a demonstrable track record of successfully managing sales and service teams then this may be the role for you.

The role and environment is demanding, yet rewarding, requiring natural leadership, organisational and prioritisation skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resilient and be able to handle a high work load whilst building relationships with colleagues and suppliers.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previously delivered consistent customer excellence in a sales driven environment
  • Experience of Financial Services
  • Experience managing multiple teams
  • Previously worked in a fast paced, high volume role
  • Significant experience within a similar role

  • Sales and performance driven
  • An understanding of exemplary service delivery as well as the ability to create a fun, motivational work environment
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand and deliver quality experience, both digitally and offline
  • Resilient and able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with the ability to stay cool under pressure
  • Can assess, revise and improve customer journeys and processes
  • Proactive as an individual, and works well as a team member
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and delegation skills; ensuring tight deadlines and quality is maintained
  • Identifying innovative solutions to challenging situations
  • Influencing and negotiating
  • Resilient to change, adapting to new situations with confidence where parameters may not always be clear
  • Strong interpersonal skills; building rapport and effective relationships
