Technical Contract Manager- London - £68,000 per annum

An amazing opportunity has come up to work in a one of London's signature buildings occupying the famous skyline.

The opportunity has arisen for a Technical Contract Manager with a strong technical background to join one of the UK's largest service providers.

The role is ideal for someone who is technically forward thinking and very passionate about their trade.

A strong background in Facilities Maintenance with ideally a multi-skilled background is required for this role and experience working in a client facing critical / high rise building environment is essential.

Duties

  • Ensure client requirements are met and relationships are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure all PPM's, reactive and proactive maintenance works are carried out in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Produce monthly operating, financial and resource reports for the operations manager.
  • Be responsible for budgets and make sure targets are met.
  • Manage and develop staff under your control and make sure sub contractors are compliant.
  • Ensure company procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

  • City and guild level 2 and 3 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
  • HV Authorised
  • Experience in a similar critical/ high rise environment
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • A good understanding of building services maintenance.
  • Previous managerial experience.
  • Financial understanding of profit and loss, budgets and operating costs.
  • Good man-management skills.
  • Smart, presentable and client facing.
