We have a great role come up with a company based in Slough. This is a team leader position and requires the candidate to be fully up to date with both Import and Export procedures.

Criteria for the position:

Excellent knowledge & experience of import and export procedures, systems & processes

Excellent knowledge & experience of import and export regulations & laws

Diploma or equivalent in logistics, or similar relevant subject

Understanding of warehouse and stores operations

Experience of working in an engineering or industrial environment

Very strong admin skills

Comfortable using a computer, and has good working knowledge of Word, Excel & M3

Can lead a small team effectively, organising their daily work and motivating them to perform

Able to liaise with and work with a variety of people.

Good relationships with external companies & bodies

Well organised & results driven. Able to meet deadlines

Can communicate effectively in writing (mainly email) and verbally

Good attention to detail & sets high personal standards

Flexible & adaptable: not fazed by changing priorities and routines
