Introduction:
Our client are recruiting for a Logistic Operations Engineer at their site in Castle Donington. You will ensure the company’s logistic operations (i.e. manufacturing and shipping) work correctly and meet customer requirements.

SALARY UP TO £45,000 DOE PLUS £5,000 SHIFT ALLOWANCE, PENSION, HEALTHCARE, LIFE ASSURANCE, CYCLE TO WORK SCHEME & EMPLOYEE REFERRAL SCHEME

Logistic Operations Engineer Responsibilities:
- Handle all matters relating to logistic operations and its machinery including leading and supervising incident, problem and change management.
- Coordination between the client and customer to fine-tune the operations and liaise with engineers and end users to increase stability, efficiency and establish best practice.
- Train personnel to use existing, changed or new software and machinery integration.
- Identify operational issues by observing and analysing system function and performance of results.
- Develop operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating and screening alternative solutions.
- Anticipate operational issues by studying targets, modes of operation and limitations.
- Supervision of implementing changes.
- Contributing information and opinion to unit design and modifications teams.
- Provide operational management information by collecting, analysing and summarising operational and engineering data for future trends and developments.

Logistic Operations Engineer Requirements:
- Candidate must hold a Degree/tertiary qualification in Logistics and/or Business or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain management.
- Strong working background in warehousing, distribution, transportation, production planning and/or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems/warehouse control systems.
- Previous working background within an engineering industry environment.

Logistic Operations Engineer Benefits:
- Salary up to £45,000 plus £5,000 Shift Allowance.
- Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week (2pm - 10pm).
