Marketing Procurement Manager
Central London Based
Salary up to £49,000 including benefits
This is an exciting opportunity for a bright and dynamic individual to join a growing Greenfield Procurement function in the Charity Sector.
Skills, personal attributes and experience
- Significant experience of managing and developing complex procurement projects across multiple geographies
- Experience of marketing procurement projects
- Experience of working in procurement in a new or nearly new procurement site*
- Can evidence strong analytical skills
- Understands the need to identify, quantify and manage risk
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making and justifying decisions in that context
- Excellent knowledge of MS office.
- Experience of assisting in the implementation of eProcurement or p2p systems*
- Proven and demonstrable ability to connect and develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, and with external stakeholders including suppliers
- Ability to offer constructive, collaborative challenge and to explain the basis for the challenge
- Experience of being a lead player on project teams involved in requirements gathering, design and implementation of new processes
- Demonstrable ability to lead people and taken them on the journey with them. Someone who displays strong conviction and has experience of managing people through change
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
