Manager of Operations
Chorley, Lancaster
£38,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Pension + 24 Days + Bank Holidays
40 Hours a Week Monday to Friday
Manager of Operations required for a well-established and successful manufacturer. The role will suit those looking for a role that oversees, co-ordinates, collaborates and manages all activities/tasks/resources needed for the delivery of quotes to product and services to clients.
To apply for the role, candidates need to have worked in a manufacturing environment and have strong commercial awareness. You also need to have experience managing a small team. Applicants must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and must have previous experience of ERP systems.
Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will manage a small team at the office in Chorley. You’ll be tasked with ensuring orders are delivered on time and to specification, all orders are bespoke and tailored to each customer. This includes dealing with supply chain, negotiation with suppliers and dealing with the customers directly through to final installation. You’ll also drive the business forward and suggest business improvements in line with the company’s growth plan.
