My client is a well-known retail brand based in Central London looking to hire a Finance Manager - Supply Chain. Unlike many retailers, they're doing incredibly well at the moment and continuing to open up stores across the globe. This is a brand new, challenging position for the team so you will have significant autonomy and responsibility. They have a vibrant and dynamic environment where you will work collaboratively within a team of seven.
The role of Finance Manager - Supply Chain will involve:
- Manage two direct reports
- Business partnering with Supply Chain and Operations to identify key drivers of overspend and to challenge their budget
- Work closely alongside the Stock Controllers to minimise stock less
- Identifying opportunities to continuously improve processes and financial systems
- Responsible for month end and year end
- Preparation of VAT returns
The ideal candidate for the role of Finance Manager - Supply Chain will be:
- Qualified accountant with industry experience
- Supply chain experience (or ecommerce/property)
