Contracts Manager
Kelston, Near Bath (office/field based, with travel across Southern England)

Our client is an industrial engineering services group that provides turnkey engineering solutions to customers across the UK and Europe.

They are now looking for a Contracts Manager to join a subsidiary of their business, a leading specialist for factory/industrial relocation and installation services.

The Role

As the Contracts Manager, you will oversee a number of customer contracts and ensure that both new and existing customers receive a first-class service.

Acting as a main point of contact, you’ll visit customer sites, interpret their requirements and identify solutions to meet their needs. You’ll provide quotes and method statements for projects and build positive, long-lasting relationships with customers.

Additionally, you will:

- Identify ways to maximise new business streams
- Provide project updates to customers
- Complete site surveys and inspections and produce method statements and risk assessments
- Help to develop offerings, proposals, customer and project information, sales media and brochures, and information systems
- Ensure that all offers are compliant with relevant legislation

About You

To be considered as a Contracts Manager, you will need:

- At least five years’ experience of selling and/or managing contracts of differing values (£50k < £1m+)
- A high level of IT literacy, including familiarity with MS Office
- A full driving licence
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Knowledge of the following would be beneficial: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems or project management and/or scheduling systems.
