Buyer- Ipswich, Suffolk- £35,000-£45,000

My client is an international Building and Construction Services firm with over 100 years of industry experience. Thanks to continued business development and acquisition growth, I am looking to speak with talented Buyers who have previous experience within a large Engineering/Construction environment.

Main responsibilities for the role include:

Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify new out-sourcing opportunities
Determine cost reduction strategies
Optimising resources for awarded contracts
Developing global supply chain strategy

Ideal candidates will have the following skills:

Proven background in Supply Chain (Buyer) position from an Engineering/Construction background
Experience developing international client and supplier relationships
Willingness to travel when required
Certification in CIPS is desired but no essential
