Forde Automotive is working alongside our client, a small independent business, for an Operations Transport Manager in the Leeds area. The role is to manage a small team who are responsible for moving regular and commercial vehicles up to 7.5 Tonne.

As Operations Transport Manager you will be responsible for managing, motivating and engaging with the planning team.

As a B2B role, candidates must have;

• A good understanding of the UK road network.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Logistics bias
• Good people and communication skills
• Previous planning experience (essential)

The successful applicant will communicate at all levels. The client is currently utilising a manual system but the business is soon to be moving to a new electronic system shortly.

Salary circa £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
