Purchase Coordinator role in Poole
Would you like to work in a creative and friendly environment and work in a Company that is one of the UK's premier manufacturers and suppliers?
As Purchase Coordinator you will be working closely with the Purchasing Manager and team managing and coordinating the UK side of purchasing, seeing purchases through to Purchase Order stage with suppliers.
The role
- Managing and coordinating UK purchasing
- Researching and evaluating suppliers, looking at cost, service, selection and availability
- Arranging and placing orders and supply's as required
- Coordinate and mange all activities during the purchasing process including purchase orders, packing requirements, supplier specs and pre-shipment forms
- Review and research pricing information and sharing this with Purchase Manager
- Request samples as required
- Working with other departments to understand purchasing need
Essential Skills required
- Previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing background
- Competent in MS Office
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Full time, Temp to perm role, salary £19,000 - £21,000 DOE
