Our client is a highly established international business looking to recruit a Category Manager, reporting in to the Senior Category Manager, to join their growing team.

The purpose of the role is to develop category strategies focusing on market assessment, stakeholder management, spend analysis and commercial negotiation and risk.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing procurement activities through the development of category management, focusing on stakeholder management, spend analysis, commercial negotiation and spend analysis.

You will manage and support end-to-end procurement activities for a £150 million + pa third party spend, deliver cost savings targets, manage the spend and risk for 1500+ suppliers.

Experience & Skills Required
* Proven experience in Procurement functions
* Ideally hod MCIPS qualification
* Contract management
* Strong relationship management
