Your new company
Your new company is an expanding organisation who are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join their Marketing and Business Development team based in Liverpool on a full time, permanent basis.

Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for line management of a team of 4 from ensuring allocation of work and quality to team development and appraisals. You will have hands on involvement in pitches for new business and be responsible for the production of draft pitch documents which draw on existing material and through working across the business to source additional technical content. You will support in the development of pitches and bid proposals by understanding and preparing key messages and incorporating market research as well as being responsible for identifying and improving pitch infrastructure such as tools, templates and processes. You will take a lead in tracking and reporting as well as providing input on feedback, budget and best practice.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must have prior demonstrable experience of marketing, Bid and business development and you will ideally have experience within the professional services sector although other industry experience will be considered. You will be able to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively as having a proven ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels. You will be able to produce well written content of a high standard and have a real eye for detail. You must have previous supervisory or managerial experience as you will be expected to hit the ground running.
