Our client is a start-up technological firm with a rising reputation worldwide. Due to immediate success and expanding demands, they are looking to appoint an operations director to accommodate their expanding demand.
Role:
- Daily Management of IT and Telecoms system
- Work with the Board and other Senior Managers to get the best performance from staff, sub-contractors and assist with driving the business
- Exhibiting excellent behaviour modelled on the company’s values and culture in order to successfully manage team performance, keeping employees motivated and organising training
- Ensuring your keep up to date with all regulatory developments and ensure appropriate compliance, governance and risk control procedures are in place
- Put in place IT and Telecoms Disaster Recovery plan
- Identify suitable opportunities to improve current systems and processes
Candidate:
- Previous 7-10 years of IT/Operations Management experience
- Must be able to demonstrable track record of successfully influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience of working in a Customer centric environment and managing Customer satisfaction
- Exhibit examples of successfully motivating and leading a team to achieving expected results or surpassing targets
- Good knowledge of operating systems/platforms, Virtualisation and IT in general
- Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
