MB Fitzgerald Recruitment are currently working with a National Financial Planning & Investment Management organisation who are lookiing for an additional hire in their Client Account Management team.

The Account Management team services a number of Investment Managers based both in Edinburgh and in Glasgow, including managing the client on-boarding process and ensuring they provide a first class service to clients.

This customer service focused role is key to delivering a high quality customer expereince for both new and existing clients of the Investment Management business and so they require an experienced Financial Services focused administrator or customer services professional. You must have previous experience of working within financial services and a knowledge of Investments or Pensions.

The ideal candidate would have experience in an Account Manager or Investment Operations Administrator role within an Investment Management organisation. IFA Administrators and Pensions Administrators should also be encouraged to apply.

Key Areas of Responsibility Include:

  • Serve as a point of contact for all client account related matters.
  • All aspects of servicing of client relationships including due diligence, client review meetings and handling daily questions and queries.
  • Ownership for client matters permitting effective cross-functional coordination, enhancing execution and problem resolution.
  • Responsible for client AML and KYC working closely with Senior Managers and internal compliance teams.
  • Responsible for facilitation of client proceedings, such as take-on and termination. This requires close cooperation with all the relevant teams including investments, legal, compliance and the transitions teams within operations.
  • Ensure a timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations when required.
  • Ownership to ensure that any regulatory changes influencing the service model and requirements of clients are recognized and assessed in advance.
  • Responsible for new client business take on from initial point of contact to business completion
