Are you a transport manager who thrives on building relationships and developing large teams?

If this sounds like you, here at XPO we are looking to speak with our next transport first line manager for one of our key contracts with Iceland at our Swindon site on a full-time permanent basis working a 4 on 4 off 7am-7pm shift pattern. 

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,259.64 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • You will act as the first point of contact for the customer, so being able to demonstrate your ability to communicate with different stakeholders in a complex environment is crucial
  • Taking responsibility for the drivers and fleet, you will conduct 121’s, manage rotas, grievances, and compliance, with a big emphasis on ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed
  • Dealing with driver briefs and debriefs and the booking in of vehicles and trailers for service to keep our operations compliant


What you need to succeed at XPO:
  • You`ll be confident managing drivers, be well organised and of course, have a good understanding of compliance and drivers hours
  • Strong communicator at all levels
  • CPC is desirable but not essential
