Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an Operational Repair Manager to join

professional, fast paced Property Services Team.

They provide affordable homes all across North Yorkshire and aim to be the Best Rural Housing Association in the country.

You will be a key member of the Property Services Management Team, responsible for managing and monitoring operations in relation to repairs and maintenance, to provide an outstanding customer experience of the repairs service.

You will lead and manage the Property Services Team in activities ensuring that works are delivered on time, in full and are compliant with codes of practice. As well as undertaking specific project management and being responsible for producing new policy initiatives including, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources and the deployment, training within the Property Services Team.

You’ll have:

  • A proven track record of improving customer experience

  • Relevant experience of leading and managing internal and external teams

  • Experience producing and presenting written reports and developing strategies and policies.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Excellent data analysis skills

  • Motivational leadership skills that inspire staff to work effectively both individually and as a team in a changing environment

  • Effective communicating and an able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Sound knowledge of best practice in relation to maintenance.

  • In-depth understanding and application of Health and Safety legislation

  • Professional qualification in relevant discipline to a minimum of degree level or equivalent.

  • Evidence of continually developing professional knowledge.

  • Relevant Health & Safety Qualification.
