Logistics Operations Engineer
An industry partner with a long history of success and more than 35 locations globally are growing a brand-new Logistics Operations Engineering team at a new client site in Castle Donington. They are hiring for multiple Logistics Operations Engineers to support the establishment of a new facility, working closely with the customers to handle all matters relating to logistic operations; such as incident, problem and change management.
The Logistics Operations Engineer role combines technical, administrative, supervisory and training responsibilities and is fundamental in coordinating between the company and its customer. You will liaise with Project teams in the UK and Europe, Technical Support teams on site / at head office and the overall Site Manager.
You will troubleshoot the Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Continuous Improvement Processes with the aim of increasing efficiency and establishing best practice.

- Excellent customer experience
- IT Systems Analysis / Business Systems Analysis
- The ability to help deliver technical projects
- An understanding of Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management environments
- ITIL
- Report Development
Preferable:
- WMS and WCS
- Automated Distribution Facilities
- High Volume Manufacturing
- Degree in Business and / or Logistics
