PROCUREMENT MANAGER - Birmingham - LEADING WORLD RENOWNED CONSULTANCY - £45K - £50K + PACKAGE

My client is a world renowned management consultancy who focuses on strategic transformation, IT solutions and business operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to come in and manage a European team on a global remit whilst helping to develop the internal procurement function.

Leading a team of sourcing co-ordinators and sourcing managers you will draw from your extensive procurement experience to help develop and implement sourcing strategies across all indirect services including facilities, MRO, professional services and HR. You will be expected to manage the team in order deliver on projects, helping them to develop as they hit their agreed SLAs. This must be achieved while liaising with the Procurement Directors based in the US and in Asia and working with them to implement the procurement strategy.

The following skills are essential to be successful in this role:

• Excellent end to end procurement knowledge across areas including strategic sourcing, RFI, RFQ, tendering and supplier negotiations
• Experience procuring indirect services across areas including HR, Professional Services, FM and MRO
• Excellent management skills, prior experience leading teams and the ability to lead and motivate individuals
