Sales & Operations Manager

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Sales & Operations Manager to join a leading client of ours who are an international logistics business in a role that focuses on client satisfaction, team leadership and maximising sales opportunities with existing clients. The ideal candidate would be someone from a call centre management background who’s good at customer services and sales.

Within the role the successful candidate will be someone who possess a varied skill set as it combines a variety of elements. The post holder will be responsible for delivering a centre of excellence for our clients members covering all aspects of relationship management and development.

As Sales & Operations Manager if successful you will be leading a team of nine staff to ensure our client members expectations are being met from a logistical standpoint, along with providing sales leadership for the indoor based account managers to ensure they pro-actively protecting and retaining revenue as well as capturing all growth opportunities.

The post holder will be in charge of creating an environment that allows colleagues to achieve high levels of performance, maximising opportunities within each clients accounts. The successful individual will also have the responsibility of training and coaching members of their team to help with continued performance both individual and within a team.

Responsibilities / Skills required:

·         Experience of managing a target / KPI focused team

·         Strong communication skills

·         Commercially focussed and organisational awareness in regards to how the company deliveries it products to members

·         Ability to identify opportunities and recommended improvements, find solutions and resolve issues

·         Previous sales management experience with strong negotiation skills

·         Previous experience of managing a call centre environment including sales and customer service

·         Proven sales coaching ability

Salary / benefits:
